Bibliography
Now the question you should ask is:
How do I record this as a source in my Bibliography?
I've found this website particularly useful if you have interest in proper referencing.
A Referencing Style Guide
If there is also a bibliography, then it lists those sources which were consulted and found relevant, but are not actually referred to by name in the text. The reason why we call your list of sources a "Bibliography" is because you often read, and use information you find useful and applicable to your question without directly quoting the authors in your own report.
There are two formats of referencing-MLA and APA.
MLA is used in papers based on Arts and Humanities fields.
APA is used in research papers, mostly scientific in nature.
Therefore, when you type your Bibliography, I would recommend using APA format, as your report is similar to a food science report.
Visit the link here to have a basic understand on how to list your sources, ranging from:
-Books
-Encyclopedia & Dictionary
-Magazine & Newspaper Articles
-Website or Webpage
Hope this helps you! :)
